Regan Scarfe is a Tauranga local from an entrepreneurial family who spent his youth tinkering and troubleshooting engines in the garage with his motor mechanic Dad. Regan is well known in the Bay of Plenty by scores of parents, students and colleagues who have had their lives touched by him in his former role as a popular primary school teacher.

Ethical, proactive, and well-networked, Regan opted after 15 years to step away from teaching in 2018 and return to IT to launch IT Squad. He saw this as an opportunity to meet a need for accessible customised IT solutions in Tauranga – especially for SME businesses. The drive to create his own technology business was done with the support of an initial group of satisfied customers who strongly advocate for him and his vision to serve others. His reputation grew rapidly as he harnessed his exceptional technology knowledge and analytical problem-solving skills. Regan’s passion for helping people and winning their trust, has grown the scope of his services. He has connected with clients from many disciplines and business spheres who know they are in good hands for their IT requirements.

A self-declared geek and early adopter of new or innovative technology, Regan is also a massive fan of the outdoors. He spends as much time as possible soaking up the natural environment on his doorstep by hiking, biking, camping, or exploring the harbour edge walkways with his dog Charlie.
